Traditional Deployment
In a traditional deployment, organizations maintain their own dedicated FirstClass server. This approach allows maximum control and flexibility in the environment. All maintenance, monitoring and updates are typically handled by internal staff, with Aptiris acting in a supporting role, or working on a contract-basis as needed.
With a traditional deployment, sites select their own server hardware, take responsibility for routine backups, networking considerations, and all aspects of systems administration. Accordingly, this option is usually best for organizations with at least one staff member dedicated to information technology.
Aptiris' professional services for traditional deployment include system planning, implementation services, and extensive training for the systems administrator, to ensure he or she has the skills to properly configure and support the environment.
Hosted Offerings
For smaller organizations who may not have dedicated information technology staff or spare capacity, or who just want the convenience of a FirstClass environment without worrying about the back-end management, our hosted FirstClass service is an excellent fit.
